2012 SPRING BREAK DIVING CAMPS

Spend your Spring Break with Boardworks!  Try our one week FUNDIVE (10 -13 years),  OLYMPICGARTEN (5 - 9 years) or BOARDWORKS JR (5-9 years) camps at Saanich Commonwealth Place where you will learn basic diving skills using the trampolines and dryboards as well as in the water in a FUN and safe atmosphere!

FunDive Camp
(10 - 13 years)

Boardworks one week FunDive Camp is for 9 - 12 year olds who want to learn basic and advanced diving skills in a fun and safe environment.  Camps Include training time on trampoline, dryboards and mats as well as time in the water.  Please bring shorts, t-shirt, bathing suit, water bottle and snack. Class meets in the dryland diving area beside the trampolines.

Olympicgarten Camp
(5 - 9 years)

Boardworks one week OlympicGarten camp is designed to introduce 5 - 9 year olds to the sport of diving using dryland training, including trampoline, dryboard and gymnastics in addition to time in the water.  Please bring shorts, t-shirt, bathing suit, water bottle and snack.  Class meets in the dryland diving area beside the trampolines.

Please note: Participants must be comfortable swimming alone in the dive tank (16 ft).  Instructors will not be in the water with the class.

Boardworks Jr Camp
(5 - 9 years)

Our Boardworks Jr Spring Break Camp will provide advanced OlympicGarten participants & current Boardworks Jr participants with the opportunity to learn more advanced diving skills using the trampoline and spotting harness, dryboard and dryland activities.

Each 1 hour class includes gymnastics activities including rolls, handstands, stretching, trampoline and dryboard and diving. Instructors continue to focus on developing coordination, flexibility, strength, posture, listening skills and concentration while having FUN!

Please bring a bathing suit, towel, shorts, t-shirt and water bottle to each class.
